Edmonton (Rajeev Sharma): An Alberta judge found an Edmonton woman guilty on Friday of criminal negligence causing death, ruling that her failure to secure two large, aggressive dogs constituted a wanton and reckless disregard for human life. Alberta Court of King’s Bench Justice Eric Macklin handed down the conviction against 46-year-old Crystal MacDonald, whose two unneutered Cane Corsos fatally mauled 11-year-old Kache Grist on April 1, 2024.
