Chandigarh, September 27: The Haryana government has announced an increase of ₹50 per quintal in the procurement price of bajra, raising it to ₹2,200 per quintal through state agencies. Additionally, under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, farmers will receive a direct transfer of ₹575 per quintal into their bank accounts, ensuring they get the full Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,775 per quintal set by the Centre.A spokesperson from the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said the procurement price was earlier ₹2,150 per quintal, with ₹625 per quintal transferred under the Bhavantar scheme.
