Gurpreet Singh :- Amritsar: In a significant crackdown on drug smuggling, customs officials at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport have arrested a passenger for attempting to bring narcotics into the country. The arrest was made during routine security checks at the airport. Authorities recovered approximately 964 grams of cannabis from the passenger, with an estimated market value of nearly ₹96 lakh. Officials described the seizure as a major success in efforts to prevent illegal drug trafficking through international routes.
