Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): In a major festive gesture for over 8 lakh employees and pensioners across Punjab, the CM Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab Government has issued a notification granting an 8% enhancement in Dearness Allowance (DA) with effect from September 1, 2026, fulfilling the assurance given to employee representatives and strengthening the government’s commitment to the welfare and financial well-being of its workforce.
