Heroine worth Rs 125 crore seized near Indo-Pak border in Amritsar; ammunition also recovered

National Times Bureau :- Punjab police in joint operation with the Border Security Force (BSF) recovered a large quantity of heroin and weapons near Indo-Pak border in Amritsar. The recovered heroine has been allegedly smuggled from Pakistan which is estimated to be worth around Rs 125 crore in the international market.  According to officials, security agencies had received credible information about drug and arms smuggling in the border area.
