Mohali (Naval Kishore): Deep concern and anger spread among members of the Sikh community following an alleged incident of beadabi involving Gutka Sahib aungs at Mohali. In response, members of the sangat and local residents gathered to hold a peaceful protest, demanding strict action against those responsible at Singh Sheeda Gurudwara Sohana.
Speaking to National Times Media, president Harjinder Singh strongly condemned the incident and appealed to the government and law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation. He said the Sikh community’s religious sentiments have been deeply hurt and those behind the alleged act must be identified and punished according to law.
Harjinder Singh emphasized that the protest was being carried out peacefully and respectfully, with the aim of seeking justice and maintaining communal harmony. Protesters raised slogans demanding accountability and urged authorities to ensure such incidents are prevented in the future.
Community members also appealed to the administration to act swiftly and transparently so that faith and trust among the public can be maintained.
