Jind’s Eco-Friendly Rally Delivers Strong Green Energy Message as Chief Minister Nayab Saini Hails India’s Modern Development Model

Jind (Balwinder Singh): The massive eco-friendly public rally organized in Jind has delivered an impactful message on environmental sustainability and green energy promotion, drawing enthusiastic participation from citizens, social organizations, and administrative bodies. Attendees demonstrated their commitment to ecological conservation by heavily utilizing electric vehicles and other non-fossil fuel transit options to reach the venue, responding directly to a national call for environmental preservation.

Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state following the historic launch of India’s first hydrogen-powered passenger train, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini described the Prime Minister as the architect of a developed India and the symbol of aspirations for 140 crore citizens. The Chief Minister expressed his profound gratitude to the central government for granting a massive development package of nine crucial projects valued at ₹14,721 crore to the state, emphasizing that these initiatives will accelerate Haryana’s economic momentum.

Chief Minister Saini noted that under the Prime Minister’s leadership over the past 12 years, India has moved beyond mere discussions of development to present a completely new operational model to the global community. He emphasized that the country is advancing swiftly across critical sectors including infrastructure, railways, expressways, highways, metro connectivity, healthcare, education, and digital governance. Reflecting on India’s global repositioning, the Chief Minister stated that a nation which once sought technological assistance from abroad is now witnessing global markets eagerly adopting its homegrown innovations and looking to India for major economic opportunities.

The launch of the country’s pioneer hydrogen train from Haryana soil was highlighted as a matter of immense regional pride, showcasing a practical realization of a self-reliant, clean-energy transport system. The Chief Minister revealed that due to the “double-engine” governance framework, Haryana has received financial assistance exceeding ₹7 lakh crore through various central government welfare schemes over the past 12 years, triggering a rapid expansion of the state’s transport networks and medical infrastructure. This event marked the Prime Minister’s 18th official visit to the state during his tenure, following previous project dedications worth more than ₹71,000 crore.

Detailing Haryana’s recent developmental accomplishments, Saini announced that the administration has successfully achieved its target of establishing a college within every 20-kilometre radius, while setting up PM Shri and Sanskriti Model Schools at 10-kilometre intervals. The healthcare framework has expanded to 17 operational medical colleges, 11 of which were established in the last 12 years, alongside three additional facilities currently under construction.

In agriculture, the Chief Minister emphasized that Haryana leads the country as the first state to procure all crops at the Minimum Support Price to safeguard farmers’ livelihoods. To fortify regional irrigation, a comprehensive timeline up to 2031 has been instituted to rehabilitate all canals older than 20 years, alongside the active rejuvenation of 450 water reservoirs. Saini concluded by noting that the state administration has already fulfilled 66 of the 217 key governance commitments made to citizens, asserting that Haryana is well-positioned to lead the realization of a fully developed nation ahead of the 2047 target.
