New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): India has sent a second relief flight to Nepal carrying 37.5 tonnes of humanitarian assistance as part of its continuing support for relief operations in the neighbouring country.
The latest consignment comprises Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) supplies, including essential medicines and food packets. The material is intended to help meet immediate requirements and support relief agencies working on the ground.
India is also maintaining close coordination with the Nepalese authorities to monitor the situation and determine what additional assistance may be required. Officials said communication between the two sides remains continuous as relief efforts continue.
