Haryana Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma Hands Over Appointment Letters To 380 Group-D Employees

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Tourism Minister Dr Arvind Sharma on Thursday distributed appointment letters to 380 newly selected Group-D employees in the state Tourism Department and wished them success in their new roles.

The Tourism Minister said recruitment had been initiated for a total of 397 Group-D posts in the department, of which appointment letters are being issued to around 380 candidates. The posts include those of attendants, kitchen helpers and gardeners.

Sharma said efforts have been made to post newly appointed women employees close to their homes for their convenience. Similar efforts have been made to provide other recruits with postings near their home locations wherever possible.

Arvind Sharma Highlights Haryana’s Merit-Based Recruitment Policy

The minister said the Haryana government, under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, was providing employment opportunities to youth through a transparent and merit-based recruitment system.

He said appointments were being made under the government’s ‘Bina Parchi, Bina Kharchi’ policy, aimed at ensuring eligible candidates secure government jobs without recommendations or monetary influence.

Sharma said the government’s objective was not only to create employment opportunities for young people but also to ensure that government departments have the required manpower to function effectively.

The Tourism Minister also extended greetings to the people of Haryana on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami.

Haryana Tourism Director Parth Gupta, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation General Manager Rajiv Prasad and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
