Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana government has officially mandated all state government employees to submit their annual property returns for the 2025-2026 fiscal year by May 22, 2026. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi issued these instructions to ensure that every public servant remains compliant with the state’s transparency and conduct regulations. The directive applies to all personnel across various government departments, emphasizing the administration’s focus on maintaining updated records of assets held by its workforce.
According to the guidelines provided by the Chief Secretary, the requirement is rooted in Rule 24 of the Haryana Civil Services (Government Employees’ Conduct) Rules, 2016. This regulation makes it a compulsory duty for every employee to file a detailed property statement at the conclusion of each financial year. To facilitate a smooth and transparent process, the government has directed that all returns must be filed electronically through the official portal at intrahry.gov.in.
Furthermore, the state administration has clarified that this deadline also serves as an opportunity for employees to rectify any previous omissions. Those who have failed to submit their property details for prior years are instructed to complete those filings as well within the specified time frame. By utilizing the centralized digital platform, the government aims to create a comprehensive and verifiable database of employee assets, thereby strengthening the integrity of the civil service across Haryana.
