Haryana Government Continuously Strengthening Educational Infrastructure in State Schools Claims Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda announced that the state government is consistently upgrading the basic infrastructure of public schools under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Speaking after the inauguration of newly constructed school buildings at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Kahnaur and the Government Senior Secondary School in Kalanaur, Dhanda noted that public schools have transformed into modern centers for qualitative learning, personality development, and skill enhancement.

The Education Minister highlighted that the new facility at Kahnaur stands as a testament to the administration’s commitment to female empowerment and higher educational standards. He traced the rich legacy of the institution, noting that it has contributed significantly to character building in the region since its establishment in 1947. Dhanda added that the state prioritizes equipping classrooms with modern laboratories, appropriate furniture, and basic amenities such as clean drinking water and separate toilets, with the majority of renovation works already complete across Haryana.

Urging parents to trust the public school system, the minister emphasized the high qualifications of state-appointed teachers who successfully clear competitive recruitment examinations. He noted that academic reforms implemented since 2014 have led to a steady rise in the Haryana Board examination success rate, which now exceeds 90 percent. Former Cooperation Minister Manish Grover also addressed the gathering, praising the transparent online teacher transfer policy and the rapid digitalization that continues to bridge the educational gap for rural students.
