Saini cited Maruti Suzuki’s manufacturing network across Gurugram, Manesar and Kharkhoda in Haryana, as well as Hansalpur in Gujarat, as an example of industrial cooperation between the two states.
According to the government’s statement, production at the company’s second unit in Kharkhoda began in May 2026, taking the combined annual production capacity of its Haryana and Gujarat facilities to 26.50 lakh vehicles.
The Chief Minister said cooperation could also expand across automobile components, machinery, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics and logistics. He suggested that businesses operating in Gujarat could consider establishing production units, warehouses and technical facilities in Haryana.
Happening Haryana Summit Planned For April 2027
Saini said Haryana’s economy was estimated to be worth around Rs 14 lakh crore in 2025-26, with a projected real growth rate of 9.5%, according to the state government’s estimates.
He also referred to the Happening Haryana 2.0 event held in Mumbai, where companies reportedly signed memorandums of understanding for proposed investments exceeding Rs 66,000 crore.
The Chief Minister described the global investors’ summit planned for April 2027 as another opportunity to connect businesses and investors with Haryana’s industrial plans. He urged entrepreneurs to bring their business partners, suppliers and investor networks into the state’s investment ecosystem.
Haryana Government Promises Support To Investors
Saini stressed that investment should translate into practical benefits for local communities, including training, skill development and employment for young people. He also called on companies to create opportunities for small and medium enterprises to participate in their supply chains.
