Gunfire Reported Near Kapil Sharma-Linked Café in Surrey, Probe Intensifies

Surrey (Rajeev Sharma): Authorities in Surrey are investigating a fresh shooting incident reported near a café associated with comedian Kapil Sharma, raising renewed concerns over safety in the area.

The incident took place along 120 Street, where multiple eateries, including the popularly known Caps Café, are located. While gunshots were reported in the vicinity, officials have not yet confirmed whether the café itself was the intended target.

Police teams swiftly reached the spot, sealing off the area as part of standard protocol. Surveillance footage from nearby establishments is being examined to identify suspects and reconstruct the sequence of events. A forensic unit has also collected samples and other material evidence from the scene.

Adding to the concern, unverified posts circulating on social media have allegedly issued threats connected to the comedian and the establishment. Authorities, however, have cautioned against drawing conclusions, stating that the authenticity of such messages is still under scrutiny.

This marks the second such episode linked to the location in recent times. A similar incident last year resulted in damage to property, including shattered glass, though no major injuries were reported.

Law enforcement agencies in Canada have said that all possible angles are being explored, and further updates will be shared as the investigation progresses. No official response has yet been issued by Kapil Sharma regarding the latest development.
