Former Three-Time Akali MLA Ranjit Singh Chhajjalwaddi Joins AAP Along with Son

Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major political boost in the Baba Bakala constituency when Ranjit Singh Chhajjalwaddi, a three-time MLA of the Shiromani Akali Dal, joined the Aam Aadmi Party. His son Satinderjit Singh Chhajjalwaddi also joined the AAP with him. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD Rajbir Singh Ghuman inducted and welcomed Chhajjalwaddi into AAP.

On this occasion, Chief Minister’s OSD Rajbir Singh Ghuman said that with the Chhajjalwaddi family joining the Aam Aadmi Party, the party cadre in the Baba Bakala constituency and surrounding areas would receive new energy and strength. He said that impressed by the people-oriented policies and development works of the Punjab government, wise leaders and common people of the state are continuously joining AAP, and every leader and worker joining the party will be given full honour and respect.

It is worth mentioning that Satinderjit Singh Chhajjalwaddi was serving as the current constituency in-charge of the Shiromani Akali Dal (punar-surjit) and had also contested the 2022 Assembly elections from the Jandiala Guru constituency. The Chhajjalwaddi family has had a strong hold in the Baba Bakala constituency for a long time, and the family has remained connected with the people of the area.

On this occasion, the leaders expressed their faith in the people-oriented policies of the Aam Aadmi Party and the development works of the Punjab government and said that they would work day and night for strengthening the party and the development of the constituency.
