England (Rajeev Sharma): An elderly Sikh man was allegedly subjected to a violent assault in England’s Smethwick area, where he was later discovered injured and abandoned on the roadside. The incident, which has sparked concern within the local community, is under active investigation by West Midlands Police, with two teenage suspects already taken into custody.

Videos circulating online show the victim in a distressed condition, with torn clothing and visible injuries. The man appears unable to move comfortably as bystanders attempt to assist him. Reports suggest that investigators are also examining allegations that an attempt may have been made to burn the victim before he was left at the scene.

Police officials said the attack took place on the night of June 14 and confirmed that two 17-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the case. One of the accused has been remanded to a youth detention facility after appearing before a court, while proceedings against the second suspect are ongoing.
