Mohali sacrilege row: Desecration of gutka sahib in Sohana, protesters block Airport Road

Gurpreet Singh :- A serious case of sacrilege has come to the fore where desecration of gutka sahib was reported in Sohan near Mata Gujri Devi Gurdwara (located close to Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan), triggering tensions in the area.  Following the incident, members of Sikh community blocked the Airport road in protest after desecrated pages of holy book were found lying on the road and demanded justice.  A case under newly enacted anti-sacrilege legislation has been registered and police launched investigation into the matter.
