Punjab bomb threat: Several schools in Patiala receive bomb threats via email; probe launched, premises evacuated

Gurpreet Singh :- Several schools in Punjab's Patiala district on Thursday received fresh bomb threats via email triggering immediate security response.  The email threatened to carry out a suicide bomb blast at Patiala schools and trains in Ferozepur. Soon after receiving the information, several teams of police officials along with bomb disposal squad reached the spot and launched investigation.  The premises were immediately evacuated and security agencies cordoned off the area.  The email was sent in the name of Khalistan National Army.
