The victim has been identified as Jerry Wayne Bull, 42, of Calgary, after an autopsy was completed on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Police confirmed that the death has now been officially ruled a homicide.
According to investigators, an individual who was taken into custody at the scene has been remanded on unrelated outstanding warrants. Authorities have confirmed that this person has not been charged in connection with the homicide.
