Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): BLS Calgary has reopened at its former location above Magnolia Hall at 900–5075 Falconridge Blvd. NE, with a larger facility and additional staff to provide a more comfortable and convenient experience for applicants seeking Indian visa, passport, OCI and other consular services.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Saturday appointments from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The expanded space is designed to accommodate more applicants and reduce outdoor waiting during busy periods and severe weather.
The BLS Calgary Manager encouraged applicants to book appointments online in advance, saying this can help save time and money, reduce waiting and make the overall process more convenient. Applicants are also advised to check requirements and prepare all necessary documents before visiting.
Visitors on the first day gave very positive feedback about the new facility and staff. Gagandeep Singh, who applied for an Indian visa, said he booked his appointment online and selected the lounge service. He described the experience as smooth and praised the staff for their professional and cooperative service.
Dr. Jyoti, who visited for passport renewal, also praised the helpful and respectful staff and said the larger office made the process more comfortable. Other visitors shared similar positive comments, welcoming the expanded facility as a positive improvement for Calgary’s Indian community.
With its larger space, additional staff, online appointments and Saturday availability, BLS Calgary is aiming to make Indian visa, passport and consular services faster, safer and more convenient for the public.
