Alberta (Rajeev Sharma): Alberta’s government is expanding opportunities for high school students to begin charting their post-secondary and career paths, announcing close to $4.5 million in new funding to support dual credit programs across the province for the upcoming school year. Dual credit courses allow students in Grades 10 through 12 to earn both high school and post-secondary credits simultaneously, giving them an early start in fields ranging from skilled trades to human services.
