National Times Bureau :- Air quality in Delhi and the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR) has deteriorated rapidly, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to impose Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-III) with immediate effect on Friday. According to official data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI), which stood at 343 on Thursday, climbed further to 354 by Friday evening, placing the city firmly in the ‘Very Poor’ category.
