New Delhi | Former Delhi minister and senior AAP leader Kailash Gehlot, who resigned from the party yesterday, is likely to join the BJP this afternoon, according to a source. In his resignation letter addressed to AAP’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, Gahlot cited unfulfilled promises and recent controversies as reasons for stepping down. Gahlot, the MLA from Najafgarh and once a close aide of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, resigned from the council of ministers with immediate effect.
