Amritsar | Punjab recorded its highest single-day count of stubble-burning incidents this season, with 1,251 farm fires reported on Monday. New Delhi | Police have registered a case against four unidentified persons on charges of attempt to murder after NCP (SP) leader and former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh was seriously injured in stone pelting at his car in Nagpur, officials said on Tuesday. New Delhi | The Himachal Pradesh High Court has ordered the attachment of the Himachal Bhawan in Delhi after the state government failed to pay Rs 64 crore in dues to the Seli Hydro Company.
