Alberta | The Alberta Sheriffs have shut down a property in Lethbridge where complaints of drug activity prompted frequent visits from police. The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods unit of the Alberta Sheriffs obtained a court order against the owner of 94 Eagle Road, giving investigators the authority to close the property for 90 days, starting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 19. Any tenancy agreement or lease is terminated effective that date, requiring the owner and all tenants to vacate the premises. Punjab Witnesses 1.4 Quintals Increase Per Hectare In Paddy Yield

Chandigarh | Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister  Gurmeet Singh Khudian on Tuesday said that as per the results of Crop Cutting Experiments conducted by the Agriculture department an increase of 1.4 quintals has been observed in the average paddy yield per hectare in the state this season. For Kharif 2024, a total of 2174 CCEs to be conducted, the results of 1863 CCEs have reported yield stands at 6878 KG per hectare, up from 6740 KG per hectare during Kharif 2023.
