Punjab | Aam Aadmi Party MP from Anandpur Sahib Malwinder Singh Kang on Wednesday gave a notice for adjournment of House proceedings to discuss the issue of sacrilege of holy texts in Punjab. Jalandhar | The Commissionerate Police arrested two associates of the infamous Bishnoi Gang in Jalandhar following a high-speed chase and a fierce shootout. The operation unfolded when the suspects, who were being tracked by the police, attempted to flee after being intercepted. The suspects opened fire on the pursuing officers, prompting the police to retaliate. After an intense exchange of gunfire, both individuals were apprehended. Kapurthala  | In a tragic accident, a private school bus belonging to Tara Singh Memorial School collided with a motorcycle, leading to the tragic death of an 8-year-old girl in Kapurthala. The accident also left the motorcycle riders, a couple, and their 1.5-year-old daughter seriously injured. The injured are currently getting treated at the Civil Hospital. New Delhi | The Supreme Court quashed the allotment of land parcels through state government memoranda within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to MPs, MLAs, top state officers, judges of courts, and journalists, to the extent that they were classified as a separate class for allotment of land at the basic rate.
