Chandigarh, September 29, 2025: During the Kharif procurement season 2025, Haryana’s mandis have purchased a total of 187,743.49 metric tons of paddy, of which 25,000 metric tons has already been lifted from mandis and procurement centers. A spokesperson from Haryana’s Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department said that paddy has been procured from 20,147 farmers registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora Portal’.The highest procurement has been recorded in Kurukshetra district, where 82,760.48 metric tons of paddy has been purchased.
