Aichi-Nagoya (Rajeev Sharma): India added two more medals to its tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, with shooters Rudrankksh Patil and Himanshu Dhillon finishing on the podium in the men’s 10m Air Rifle final.
Patil secured the bronze medal, while Dhillon claimed silver, giving India a strong one-two presence among the medal positions in the event.
Patil’s bronze became India’s fifth medal at the ongoing Asian Games, while Dhillon’s silver took the country’s overall tally to six medals.
The result also produced a notable moment for the Indian shooting contingent. With Patil finishing third and Dhillon taking second, Indian shooters shared the podium in the same individual event for the first time at these Games.
The double-medal performance adds to India’s growing medal haul at Aichi-Nagoya and underlines the strong showing of the country’s shooting squad at the continental sporting event.
