Amritsar, Gurpreet Singh :- Tension gripped parts of the city after a bomb threat was reportedly issued to the family of Shiv Sena leader Brij Mohan Suri. Following the threat, local police and security agencies were immediately put on alert.
According to preliminary information, the threat message prompted swift action from the police administration, which increased security arrangements around the leader’s residence and surrounding areas. Senior officials reached the spot to assess the situation and ensure preventive measures were in place.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to trace the source of the threat. Technical teams are examining communication details to determine its authenticity and identify those responsible.
Police officials stated that the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness and that strict action will be taken against anyone found involved. Meanwhile, security in sensitive areas of the city has been tightened as a precautionary measure.
