Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia on Friday categorically rejected reports claiming that AAP Punjab President Aman Arora had been removed from the party’s National Executive, terming such reports completely false and misleading. The AAP Punjab Prabhari said that media houses publishing such reports should have followed the basic journalistic principle of taking the Aam Aadmi Party’s version before publishing information that could create unnecessary confusion.
Taking to X, senior AAP leader and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia stated: “The reports claiming that AAP Punjab President Aman Arora has been removed from the party’s National Executive are completely false and misleading. As per the AAP’s Constitution, state presidents are ex-officio members of the National Executive. Accordingly, Aman Arora, by virtue of being the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab President, is a member of the National Executive.
“The party has also reconstituted its National Executive with the same organisational principle of including state presidents as ex-officio members. All the Presidents of different state units are part of the National Executive,” the post concluded.
