CM Nayab Singh Saini Woos Singapore Firms at High-Level Roundtable, Pitches Haryana as North India’s Hub for Semiconductors, Data Centres, and Green Energy

SINGAPORE / CHANDIGARH (GURPREET SINGH) — On the third day of his official visit to Singapore, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini engaged with senior industry leaders, investors, and Singapore Business Federation representatives during a round table conference organized under the Singapore Business Forum. CM Saini positioned Haryana as the premier gateway for advanced industrial expansion in North India, seeking partnerships in semiconductor manufacturing, data infrastructure, renewable energy, and modern logistics.

The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s vision to expand beyond Gurugram’s corporate footprint by establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and technology-led hubs across Tier-2 cities, including Panchkula, Karnal, Hisar, Sonipat, and Rohtak. Emphasizing Haryana’s strategic advantages, Saini pointed to the unveiling of the Data Centre Policy-2026, aimed at providing dedicated land, uninterrupted power supply, and regulatory predictability to meet growing nationwide demand for cloud and compute facilities.

Stressing the natural synergy between Singapore’s technological efficiency and Haryana’s industrial manufacturing base, Saini invited global firms to participate in expanding semiconductor supply chains, component fabrication, and circular green economy projects. Underlining Haryana’s proximity to the National Capital Region and access to dedicated freight corridors, he guaranteed fast-tracked project approvals, end-to-end policy backing, and an industry-aligned talent pool for prospective investors looking to set up regional headquarters or manufacturing facilities.
