Haryana’s Robust Sports Policy and Infrastructure Investments Driving Global Athletic Success, Says Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh)— Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Monday that the state’s continuous focus on strengthening sports infrastructure and supporting athletic talent since 2014 has yielded visible, positive results on both national and international stages. Responding to an inquiry by legislator Devender Hans during Question Hour in the Haryana Legislative Assembly, Saini emphasized that the exceptional medal tallies achieved by Haryana athletes reflect a powerful combination of their relentless perseverance and the state administration’s progressive sports policy.

Commending the state’s athletes for winning gold medals and bringing pride to the nation, the Chief Minister highlighted that the government remains fully committed to modernizing training facilities, upgrading athletic amenities, and offering comprehensive institutional backing to budding sports talents. Saini remarked that the state’s ongoing policy initiatives have established a solid foundation for youth development over the past 12 years, contrasting the current administration’s proactive measures with the limited support provided under previous regimes. He affirmed that the government will sustain its focused investments to ensure Haryana continues to lead India’s sports landscape in the years ahead.
