Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh)— Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa has directed municipal council officials to immediately deploy super sucker machines to clean the sewerage network in Rewari’s Sector 1 and resolve persistent waterlogging issues at Holi Park.
Presiding over a meeting of the District Public Grievances Redressal Committee at the Bal Bhavan auditorium in Rewari, Gangwa responded to complaints raised by local residents regarding poor drainage. He instructed the executive officer of the municipal council to take swift measures to ensure the proper disposal of contaminated water from the affected areas.
During the meeting, the minister also addressed a land dispute filed by a local resident, directing the Haryana Urban Development Authority to allocate the rightful plot immediately while ordering an official inquiry into staff delays. In a separate grievance involving a resident whose plot was shown on a roadway, Gangwa instructed the District Town Planner to regularize the colony map based on the ground situation.
Taking note of monsoon flooding issues in Sulkha village, Gangwa appointed a duty magistrate to oversee the immediate construction of a drainage channel. The committee reviewed a total of 13 public grievances during the session, successfully resolving four matters on the spot while directing relevant departments to submit progress reports for the remaining cases.
