New Delhi (Gurpreet Singh): The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is finalizing a comprehensive organizational revamp, with national president Nitin Nabin set to unveil his new leadership team in the coming days. The planned restructuring is expected to focus heavily on ushering in next-generation leaders, providing substantial representation to younger party workers and women across key national posts.
The structural transition reflects the broader generational change underway within the party hierarchy following the elevation of the 46-year-old party chief earlier this year. Political observers note that the modernization of the party machinery also follows recent youth agitations across the country, positioning the ruling party to better engage younger demographics. Several prominent figures are expected to move between the Union Cabinet and the central party apparatus, preceding an anticipated expansion and reshuffle of the central council of ministers.
At present, the organizational apex is anchored by the four-member Margdarshak Mandal, alongside the 12-member Parliamentary Board led by the Prime Minister. The governing bodies and office-bearer tiers currently encompass the Central Election Committee, 11 national vice-presidents, and seven general secretaries, several of whom hold seats in the upper house of Parliament. The upcoming announcements are expected to reconfigure these administrative and policy-making panels to drive upcoming state and national campaigns.
