Haryana Public Works Minister Directs Officials to Resolve Public Grievances Promptly

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa instructed administrative officers to resolve public complaints on priority to prevent unnecessary delays for citizens. Presiding over the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting at Bal Bhawan Auditorium in Rewari, the Minister reviewed 16 official complaints and resolved eight matters on the spot.

Taking note of a long-pending dispute regarding a regularized colony mapping in Saadat Nagar, Gangwa directed Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Modi to investigate the matter and submit a detailed report on procedural delays within the District Town Planner’s office. Addressing sewerage blockage issues raised by Durga Colony residents, the Minister instructed officials from the Municipal Council and Public Health Department to take strict action against contractors who fail to fulfill their mandatory five-year post-construction maintenance obligations under the Amrit Yojana.

Prior to the grievance session, the Minister inaugurated the renovated Bal Bhawan Auditorium, updated at a cost of ₹27 lakh. Senior administrative officials and elected representatives, including Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav, Kosli MLA Anil Yadav, Bawal MLA Dr. Krishan Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Meena, and Superintendent of Police Hemendra Meena, attended the proceedings.
