Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Hails Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Historic 12-Year Tenure, Projects Fourth Term in 2029

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): In a comprehensive press conference held at Panchkamal in Panchkula, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini lauded the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he marked the completion of 12 years in office. Chief Minister Saini asserted that under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the nation has witnessed a rapid overhaul of its rural and urban landscapes through over a decade of service and good governance. Launching a sharp critique against opposition parties, Saini stated that the era of political misinformation has ended, replaced by a transparent and accountable administrative framework. He confidently projected that the country would see the Prime Minister return as the ‘Pradhan Sevak’ for a historic fourth consecutive term in 2029.

The Chief Minister emphasized India’s burgeoning geopolitical influence, noting that the nation’s voice now commands deep respect and decisive influence on premier global platforms like the G-20, BRICS, SCO, and the United Nations. On national security and integration, Saini highlighted monumental structural changes, notably the abrogation of Article 370 and Section 35-A, which fully integrated Jammu and Kashmir into the national fold. He pointed to successful defense initiatives like Operation Sindoor in May 2025, which put indigenous military technology on global display, alongside swift internal security actions under Operation Mahadev. Key policies such as the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act, One Rank-One Pension, and zero-tolerance approaches to domestic challenges have further fortified internal stability and unified national borders.

Domestically, India’s economic trajectory has shifted remarkably, climbing toward becoming the world’s fourth-largest economy despite navigating global supply chain crises and recessions. Chief Minister Saini brought special attention to the massive digital transformation driven by the Unified Payments Interface, noting that India now commands approximately 56 percent of global digital transactions. This technological leap has allowed over 51 lakh crore rupees to be transferred securely and directly to beneficiaries via Direct Benefit Transfer, effectively wiping out intermediaries and systemic leakages. Parallel programs like Startup India have expanded the startup ecosystem to over 2.2 लाख enterprises, while the Mudra Scheme has disbursed over 40 lakh crore rupees in collateral-free loans, remarkably benefiting female entrepreneurs who make up 75 percent of the recipients.

The briefing also shed light on extensive advancements in human capital, sports infrastructure, and public health. With the establishment of over 1,045 Khelo India Centers and 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs, the government is actively embedding innovation and scientific thinking within millions of students. In health, the number of medical colleges nationwide has expanded to 842, substantially increasing available medical seats. On women empowerment, the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam guaranteeing a 33 percent legislative reservation was marked as a watershed moment, alongside the expansion of the Lakhpati Didis initiative aiming to uplift crores of women through self-help groups by 2030.

Closer to home, Chief Minister Saini detailed how the double-engine governance model has fast-tracked mega infrastructure and social welfare programs across Haryana, a state the Prime Minister has visited 17 times. The state’s national highway network has expanded to 3,414 kilometres, linking every single district, complemented by pioneering projects like the successful testing of a hydrogen-powered train between Jind and Sonipat and the expansion of the metro network across four major cities. Financial security has been heavily bolstered locally through the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana providing monthly financial assistance to nearly ten lakh women, and the implementation of a 500-rupee subsidized domestic gas cylinder scheme. Haryana also stands out as the only state procuring all 24 major crops at the Minimum Support Price, with over 1.85 lakh crore rupees transferred directly into the bank accounts of 12 lakh farmers, solidifying rural stability as India progresses steadily toward its grand vision of a fully developed nation by 2047.
