Power Is Not A Means To Enjoy Luxury But A Medium For Service: Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh (Blawinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday stated that political power is not a tool to enjoy luxury but a vital medium to serve the public. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the newly constructed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district headquarters, named ‘Namo Kamal’, in Narnaul, Saini asserted that the current state government has effectively eliminated the systemic regional discrimination historically faced by South Haryana under previous regimes, replacing it with the inclusive philosophy of “Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek”.

Prior to his address, the Chief Minister hoisted the party flag and participated in a traditional ritual ceremony at the facility. Paying rich tributes to the land of Chyavan Rishi, Saini lauded the Mahendragarh region for its historical contributions to national security and the supreme sacrifices of its soldiers. Highlighting local development, he emphasized that road connectivity across Narnaul and Mahendragarh is being heavily upgraded. Key infrastructure projects, including an advanced logistics hub, are currently underway to generate substantial employment opportunities for local youth, while targeted canal interventions have successfully delivered water to the tail-ends of the drought-prone region.

Saini extended his congratulations to the grassroots party workers on the establishment of the new organizational centre, describing a party office as a sacred temple of service rather than a mere structure of brick and mortar. He drew a sharp contrast between the BJP’s democratic framework and the nepotism prevalent in dynastic political parties, noting that a common worker can rise to top leadership positions through sheer dedication. Tracing the party’s journey from winning just two Lok Sabha seats in 1984 to becoming the world’s largest political organization with over fourteen crore members, Saini credited the transformation to the relentless hard work of party cadres and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event, presided over by Haryana BJP State President Dr Archana Gupta, also saw addresses from State Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao, who termed the Ahirwal region a “land of soldiers” and praised the Chief Minister’s welfare initiatives. The inauguration was attended by several prominent dignitaries, including Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Chaudhary Dharambir Singh, District President Dr Yatendra Rao, and legislators Om Prakash Yadav, Anil Yadav, and Kanwar Singh Yadav, alongside former state ministers Banwari Lal and Abhay Singh Yadav.
