Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini showcased a profound example of humility and social harmony on Saturday by joining local residents for a community dinner at the Valmiki Temple located in Panchkula’s Indira Colony. Following his address as the chief guest at a district-level training seminar hosted at the PWD Rest House, the Chief Minister traveled directly to the colony. Upon arrival, Saini paid his respects at the temple, performing traditional prayers and seeking blessings before interacting with the gathered public.

Ditching standard VVIP protocols, the Chief Minister sat cross-legged on the floor alongside the colony residents, children, and community elders to partake in the traditional community feast. During the dinner, Saini engaged in personal conversations with the local families, listening to their feedback on urban welfare programs and inquiring about their general well-being. The local residents expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, noting that the Chief Minister’s grounded approach highlighted the state government’s ongoing philosophical alignment toward the upliftment and dignity of every segment of society.
The residential pocket witnessed celebratory scenes as women, children, and village elders gathered to welcome the executive head of the state. Prominent public figures accompanied the Chief Minister during this community outreach program, including Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Rekha Sharma, Kalka Member of the Legislative Assembly Shakti Rani Sharma, and former Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta. Other senior leaders in attendance included state vice-president Banto Kataria, district president Ajay Mittal, newly elected Mayor Shyam Lal Bansal, and training seminar supervisor Sanjay Sharma, all of whom engaged with the local management to review local development needs.
