Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini extended his heartfelt congratulations to all successful candidates following the declaration of the municipal body election results. Speaking to the media at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Chief Minister asserted that the electorate has effectively placed its seal of approval on the policies and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Accompanied by Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Saini highlighted that the mandate reflects a growing national trend of confidence in the current administration’s vision for development and governance.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Saini expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, noting that under his guidance, the BJP is consistently forming “non-stop” governments across the country. He remarked that the public’s trust in the Prime Minister’s initiatives continues to strengthen because he delivers on his promises. Saini contrasted this with the tactics of the opposition, alleging that the Congress party consistently relies on misinformation to sway voters. However, he maintained that the citizens of Haryana and the wider nation have seen through these claims, choosing instead to support the tangible progress showcased by the BJP.
The Chief Minister also pointed to recent historic victories in West Bengal and the substantial majority achieved in Assam as evidence of the Prime Minister’s broad appeal. He described the results in Haryana’s municipal elections as a one-sided victory that reinforces the party’s standing in the region. By choosing the BJP, Saini argued, the people have unmasked the hollow rhetoric of the Congress and demonstrated a clear preference for transparency and stability. He concluded by stating that the government remains committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people, guided by the transformative policies that have now been validated at the local level.
