Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana’s Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Kumar Bedi, announced on Tuesday that the state government is drafting a specialized action plan to ensure the multi-dimensional and all-round development of the province. Speaking under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Minister emphasized that integrating every region into the mainstream of development remains a top priority for the current administration. A visionary roadmap is specifically being implemented for the Narwana constituency to strengthen basic infrastructure and accelerate the progress of essential public projects.
During a high-level review meeting with senior officials from various departments, Bedi instructed the immediate preparation of Detailed Project Reports for a wide array of initiatives. These projects encompass the construction and upgrade of sports stadiums, bridges, roads, veterinary hospitals, health centres, and bus stands. The review also focused on the status of developmental work linked to previous Chief Minister announcements, with the Minister stressing that the administration is committed to the welfare of farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged. He urged officials to ensure that all projects are implemented with high quality and transparency within stipulated timelines.
Significant financial allocations have been made to transform the regional landscape, including approximately 48 crore rupees earmarked for the repair of sixteen roads, with work on nine of them scheduled to begin shortly. Furthermore, the upgrade of a 100-bed hospital building will commence soon to provide superior medical services to the local population. To enhance public recreation and environmental aesthetics, a grand park will be developed in Narwana at an estimated cost of 4 crore rupees. These initiatives are designed to improve the quality of life for residents while modernising the urban and rural sectors of the constituency.
In addition to health and recreation, the Minister highlighted several key rural projects including a Community Health Centre in Ujhana, a veterinary dispensary in Pharain Kalan, and a new hockey stadium in Narwana. Infrastructure connectivity is also receiving a major boost with the planned construction of Railway Over Bridges on the Narwana-Tohana road and the old NH-65, which are expected to cost over 60 crore rupees. Senior officials from the public works, health, transport, and sports departments attended the meeting, confirming their commitment to executing these visionary projects that aim to redefine the future of the region.
