BJP Unlikely to Form Government in Punjab Next Term, Says Arvind Kejriwal

Rajeev Sharma :- Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing party MLAs during a press conference at Kapurthala House, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is unlikely to form the government in Punjab in the next elections. He urged legislators to strengthen their connect with the people and continue working actively at the grassroots level.

Raises questions over poll results in other states
Kejriwal also questioned the election results in Delhi and West Bengal, stating that outcomes in regions where the BJP had earlier struggled appeared surprising. He hinted that such results warrant closer examination.

Remarks on Prime Minister’s popularity
Commenting on the national political scenario, Kejriwal said that the Prime Minister’s popularity is declining across the country. In this context, he added that BJP’s victories in certain states raise valid questions.

Urges MLAs to stay connected with people
He advised party MLAs to remain engaged with the public and ensure that their work is visible on the ground. He said that maintaining public trust would be key to strengthening the party’s position in Punjab.

Lauds party’s work in Punjab
Kejriwal also appreciated the work being carried out by the party in Punjab and said it would serve as a strong foundation for future success.
