Panchkula (Balwinder Singh): In a bid to assess the ground reality of state educational facilities and ensure the holistic development of students, Varsha Khangwal, Director of the Haryana School Education Project Council (HSSPP), conducted a surprise inspection at the PM Shri Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, Panchkula, on Saturday. The visit focused on evaluating academic quality alongside the promotion of social-emotional development, life skills, and experiential learning among students.
During the inspection, Khangwal meticulously observed the classroom teaching-learning process and engaged directly with the students. She posed various curriculum-based and general knowledge questions to the girls, who reportedly responded with remarkable confidence and precision. Encouraged by their performance, the Director rewarded outstanding students to boost their morale and expressed deep satisfaction with their active participation and positive outlook toward education.
Beyond academics, the State Project Director conducted a thorough review of the school’s physical infrastructure. She inspected the library facilities, cleanliness standards, availability of safe drinking water, and the condition of the toilets. Ensuring that basic amenities meet the required standards is a key priority of the council to provide a conducive environment for learning.
While appreciating the efforts of the school administration, Khangwal emphasized the need for continuous improvement and the adoption of innovative teaching methods. She urged the staff to strive for excellence, aiming to set new benchmarks for government institutions across Haryana.
