Gurpreet Singh :- A grand religious congregation was held at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib to mark the sacred occasion of Baisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Divas, witnessing the participation of a large number of devotees and prominent Sikh personalities. The event reflected deep spiritual fervour and collective devotion.
The programme began with the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, followed by kirtan and religious discourse by eminent Sikh clergy. Senior granthis addressed the gathering, recalling the historic significance of 1699 when Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa Panth, a moment that continues to inspire generations.
During the congregation, religious leaders extended greetings to the global Sikh community and delivered a strong message emphasising unity and solidarity. They underlined the importance of living according to Sikh principles and maintaining collective strength in the face of modern-day challenges.
Speakers also encouraged the sangat to stay rooted in Sikh values, adopt the Khalsa identity, and work together for the betterment of the Panth. Key concerns affecting the community were highlighted, with a clear appeal for unity and awareness.
The congregation concluded with ardas, as devotees prayed for the continued progress, unity, and well-being of the Sikh Panth.
