Cylinder Fire Triggers Panic at Krishna Temple in Ropar, Major Mishap Averted

Gurpreet Singh :- Panic gripped devotees at a Krishna Temple in Ropar on Friday morning after a gas cylinder caught fire during preparations for an ongoing religious event. The sudden incident created chaos at the premises, where a large number of people had gathered.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out when a pipe connected to the cylinder ignited while food was being prepared by cooks for a three-day religious program. People present at the spot initially tried to control the flames, but the fire spread rapidly, raising concerns of a possible explosion.

The situation became more alarming as two additional gas cylinders were reportedly lying nearby, increasing the risk of a major हादसा. However, timely action played a crucial role in preventing escalation.

Fire brigade officials, upon receiving information, rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control after a brief operation. Their prompt response ensured that no casualties or significant property damage occurred.

Devotees expressed relief after the situation was contained, stating that the outcome could have been far more serious given the crowd at the temple. The incident has once again highlighted the need for strict safety measures during large gatherings and while handling cooking equipment at public places.
