Pakistan – Gas Pipeline Blast Near Quetta Disrupts Supply, Deepens Energy Crisis in Balochistan

Rajeev Sharma :- A major gas pipeline near Quetta in Pakistan’s Balochistan province was severely damaged following a powerful explosion, officials confirmed. The blast reportedly occurred after unidentified attackers planted explosives beneath the main pipeline, triggering a fire that destroyed a significant section of the infrastructure.

Gas Supply Cut Off Across Several مناطق
The incident has led to a complete disruption of gas supply in Quetta and surrounding districts. Residents are facing serious difficulties in managing daily household activities, particularly cooking, as the outage has left many areas without access to natural gas.

Energy Crisis Worsens
Experts believe the attack has further aggravated Pakistan’s already fragile energy situation. The country has been grappling with fuel shortages, and such disruptions are expected to intensify the challenges for both authorities and the public.

No Group Claims Responsibility
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Security agencies have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, efforts are expected to begin soon to repair the damaged pipeline and restore supply in the affected regions.
