Gurpreet Singh :- A firing incident was reported outside the residence of Aam Aadmi Party councillor Kajal in the Faizpura area of Amritsar, creating panic in the locality. According to preliminary information, unidentified assailants opened fire with the alleged intention of targeting her husband, Inderjit ‘Babi’. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident and the family remained safe. Kajal is the elected councillor from Ward No. 7 in Amritsar. Upon receiving information, police teams reached the spot and initiated an investigation. Authorities are examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the attackers, while further probe into the incident is currently underway.
