Rajeev Sharma :- A tragic road accident in Canada has claimed the lives of two young men from Punjab’s Tarn Taran district after the truck they were travelling in reportedly plunged into a deep ditch in the province of British Columbia. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Talwinder Singh Gill from village Mari Gaur Singh Wala near Bhikhiwind and 30-year-old Jazbir Singh from village Alowal in Tarn Taran district.
According to available information, both men were working as truck drivers in Canada. The accident reportedly occurred on Highway-97, part of the Alaska Highway, near Fort Nelson in British Columbia. During the incident, the truck lost control and fell into a deep ditch, leading to the death of both drivers at the scene.
The tragic news has sent shockwaves through their families and the wider Punjabi community. Relatives back home in Punjab are said to be in deep grief after learning about the sudden demise of the two young men who had moved abroad in search of better opportunities.
