Mohali (Gurpreet Singh): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was re-admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Monday evening, just hours after being discharged earlier in the day, after he complained of breathing difficulty.
According to officials, Mann experienced breathlessness upon returning to Mohali after attending a major Aam Aadmi Party rally in Moga. He was admitted to the hospital around 8 p.m. for medical evaluation and monitoring.
The development comes a day after the Chief Minister was rushed to the same hospital on Sunday when his blood pressure reportedly rose significantly. He was discharged on Monday after his condition stabilised.
Sources indicated that doctors are closely monitoring his health condition as a precaution. No detailed medical bulletin has been issued so far regarding his current status.
Mann’s hospitalisation comes amid a busy political schedule, including public events and party programmes across the state.
