The incident occurred around 8 a.m. when Ranbir Singh Bedi, owner of Bedi Medical Store and son of Raghbir Singh, was opening his shop as part of his daily routine. According to preliminary information, the attackers were already lying in wait and opened fire as soon as he arrived at the shop.
