Governor Prof. Aseem Kumar Ghosh, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Ministers and Senior Officials Attend
Chandigarh, January 26: On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, an ‘At Home’ programme was organised on Monday at Haryana Lok Bhawan. Haryana Governor Prof. Aseem Kumar Ghosh and Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini attended the event and extended Republic Day greetings to the people of the state. Lady Governor Smt. Mitra Ghosh and the Chief Minister’s wife, Smt. Suman Saini, were also present on the occasion.
The programme commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the playing of patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of national pride and celebration. The event concluded with the National Song.
On this occasion, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Harvinder Kalyan, Power Minister Shri Anil Vij, Education Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda, Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, and Member of Parliament Shri Naveen Jindal were present as special guests.
Apart from them, former Army Chief Shri V.P. Malik, senior IAS officers Shri Vineet Garg, Shri A.K. Singh, Shri Anurag Agarwal, Shri Vijender Kumar, Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Shri Mohammad Shaine, Dr. Amit Agarwal, UT Chandigarh Chief Secretary Shri H. Rajesh Prasad, Smt. Ashima Brar, Chandigarh Home Secretary Shri Mandeep Singh Brar, Dr. Saket Kumar, Governor’s Secretary Shri D.K. Behera, Shri Aditya Dahiya, Shri Vinay Pratap Singh, Smt. Priyanka Soni, Dr. Shaleen, Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Shri Satpal Sharma, along with several other officers and IPS officials, were also in attendance.
Vice Chancellors Dr. Amit Arya of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak, and Shri B.R. Kamboj of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, were also present at the programme.
