Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Confirms Participation in Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Martyrdom Tercentenary at Nanded

Chowk Mehta, January 12: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the 350th martyrdom tercentenary commemorations of ‘Hind Di Chadar’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji at Takht Sri Hazur Sahib in Nanded on January 25. The confirmation came after a Sikh delegation from Maharashtra met the Chief Minister and formally extended an invitation for the two-day events scheduled for January 24 and 25.
The grand religious observance is being organised at Takht Sri Hazur Sahib under the leadership of Damdami Taksal chief Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, President of Sant Samaj, and Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, Singh Sahib Sant Giani Kulwant Singh. The events are being held with the special support of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and are expected to draw the presence of leading religious, political, and social figures from India and overseas.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed the invitation on behalf of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and the patron of the Shaheedi Tercentenary Organising Committee, Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa. Accepting the invitation, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and said it would be an honour to participate in the commemorations of the Ninth Sikh Guru, who laid down his life in defence of truth, faith, and human rights.
The delegation comprised Shaheedi Tercentenary Organising Committee Chairman Jaspal Singh Sidhu, Secretary Sukhwinder Singh Sonu, Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee spokesperson Bhai Kanwaljit Singh Ajrana, Chief Khalsa Diwan member Bhai Harshdeep Singh Randhawa, and Dr Avtar Singh Buttar, among others.
